Content Marketing.

We all know that marketing is impossible without great content, there is different types of Content Marketing but the main ones are BLOGS, VIDEOS, PICTURES and PODCASTS. 

I am going to show you few examples of Content Marketing from the travel industry that I found they are the best one and explain to you why they are best practice examples. 

The first example is Trip Advisor: one of the biggest online travel companies in the world, that has used BLOG Content Marketing as their marketing strategy. I found it that their blog is one of the best practice Content Marketing because the tactics used in promotion and advertising gave access to existing customers feedback they collected while travelling with TripAdvisor We can read some travel "inspirations", "stories" and even "tips" from customers. Those build interest to readers who can see themselves travelling and want to have the same experience for themselves. It is then easy to book by clicking the link on the post that direct you to their website.

 


The second example is from Airbnb. Once again a very famous online travel agency in the world. they use VIDEO as part of their Content Marketing Strategy which helps them drive more customers to their website, resulting in increasing their revenue and grow their customers data. This is beneficial because they include links to their social media accounts, which allow them to communicate with their audience more and a link to their website that convert visitors into buyers. 



The third example is from SNCF: the biggest European train line. they started a big campaign to promote the change of name of its product by using PICTURES of French cities in a humoristic way. Those pictures gave the customers the wish of travelling to those cities at a small price. For years, SNCF suffered of having bad reputation with its customers and has decided to change its approach to reinvent itself I order to boost its product and services offering and gain better reputation towards the public. 



My last example is from Trivago. Trivago uses PODCASTS as a channel of Content Marketing. Podcasts are a terrific way of Content Marketing and this is due to the fact that it appeals to a wide range of people. the numbers of podcasts listeners has risen in recent years, indicating that using podcasts for Content Marketing is a winning technique. When the audience "click" on the podcast, they can listen to it. and get a brief description with a picture. they can click on the green button on the main page and they are taken to Trivago's hotel booking website. That way, Trivago naturally engage with the audience who may have been intrigued by the story they have just heard and may wanted to check out the location mentioned in the podcast. After seeing how simple it is to book a hotel using Trivago's services, they easily become customers. 



I have chosen to outline those previous examples today as I believe they are the best out of all the examples I outline on my presentation. 

Those Content Marketing examples helped: 

- Increased their businesses website traffic. 

- Clients engage with heir company.

- Bring advantages against the competitors

and especially increased their brand awareness towards the public.


If you want to increase sales and reach your target audience, regardless of what type of marketing tactics yo use, you will need very good quality Content Marketing.
